I don’t usually write reviews right away — I like to wait and see how the work holds up before sharing my experience. It’s been three years since Legacy Tree Company worked on our beloved 60-year-old mulberry, and I can confidently say their work was extraordinary. Our enormous mulberry had split down the middle — the crack widened with every strong wind, and we were terrified it would come down on our home or hurt someone. Every other company said it had to be removed. Harrison and his team at Legacy were the only ones willing to try something different. They consulted with multiple experts, designed custom drill bits, and engineered a one-of-a-kind bracing system that literally married the two halves of the tree together. It was a huge undertaking and a real gamble, but they understood how much the tree meant to us — it’s our only summer shade, and it shelters countless birds. Year one was touch and go; we weren’t sure the tree would survive. The stress of the repair and the previous damage took a toll, and we watched closely through every season. By year two, things began to change — an arborist who came to trim the tree was amazed at her recovery and the craftsmanship of Legacy’s work. Now, three years later, our mulberry is thriving. The bracing has held perfectly, the canopy is full, and the leaves are bright green and glossy. We’ve had little to no branch breakage this year, and the tree has become a bit of a neighborhood legend for the incredible “surgery” she survived. We used Legacy Tree Company to assess and do a major trim of a large Mulbury tree. Martín provided an astounding thorough and knowledgeable assessment of the tree’s health, stability and needs. The cutting crew did a great job trimming to our exact specification so that they tree remained both stable but not excessively or needlessly trimmed. Highly recommend!

We Love Corrales

Just north of Albuquerque is the town of Corrales—an area where we do a lot of tree maintenance and care. We appreciate Corrales because it has a small-town feel and is a lovely location. One of our favorite highlights is the Corrales Growers Market where shoppers can get locally grown produce and other handmade goods. Corrales is also known for its vineyards, which are some of the most visited in New Mexico. Corrales Winery and Milagro Vineyards are two of the most popular. We also appreciate that Corrales has a unique opportunity to access culture at the beautifully kept Casa San Ysidro. Visitors can see a comprehensive collection of New Mexican art and furniture, in addition to the architecture of the home itself.
