Had a willow tree shedding bark and was worried I might end up losing it. Your employee inspected the tree and, point-by-point explained to me how the areas of shedding bark were actually being replaced by new growth, and should fill in over time. He pointed out how green growth was sprouting along the length of each limb, which meant the tree had no dead areas or pockets of disease or vermin. In short, the tree was healthy and neede no action at this time. He recommended a change in the urrigation pattern, and a trim to the extremities in the coming year. In short, he put our minds at ease. The tree should continue to thrive. Crisis averted.

I called for a consultation for a sick tree. Harrison was very informative and identified the issue with my Chinese Pistache tree as herbicide damage. I had used Ortho ground clear on the street side outside my property. After investigating the root of how this happened, he taught me a lot about herbicides and what I should and shouldn’t use. Curtis was very knowledgeable in helping us to assess what’s going on with our tree. He is passionate about his work and took his time to answer all of my questions.

Our tree was in crisis and we were afraid we would lose it. Legacy sent a certified arborist who did an evaluation and gave us a treatment plan. They were able to fit us into their schedule sooner than originally scheduled. They also texted with me about my concerns as the tree was declining. Nathan and Aaron upgraded the irrigation, mulched our trees and trimmed one. They were efficient and knowledgeable and answered our questions. The services were expensive but it is worth it because our tree seems to be stabilized and we have advice on how to help it going forward.

Curtis came out and did a great job of walking the property, inspecting all of our trees, bringing in additional opinions where needed and generally putting us at ease about certain arboreal concerns we had. We would, without reservation, recommend Curtis and the company he represents.

I had a Legacy Tree Co. arborist come out and assess some huge Mulberry trees and a couple elms with dead branches and other branches that just needed pruning. He gave me an estimate and we scheduled an appointment for a crew to come out about a week later. Jackie and her crew came right on time and did a terrific job with the trimming and the cleanup. It was a pleasure to watch such a friendly and professional crew make the complicated rigging, cutting, and careful lowering of all the bigger branches to the ground look so easy. These folks were very safe while also being very protective of nearby plants and landscaping. I’ve had a couple other companies come out to prune or cut down dead trees over the years, but none of them were as good or as careful as Legacy Tree. They’re not the cheapest outfit, but they are by far the best I have worked with and the only ones I’ll call in the future.

I had some sick/dead trees and they were very knowledgeable and helpful in determining what the issues and solutions were. Definitely experts! Were very willing to offer suggestions for things that I could do myself if I wanted to. Definitely would rely on them once I determine my course of action

Aaron shared many general tips as well as pruning advice and suggestions for tree species that would be good replacements for sick trees. Just as valuable were his assurances that galls or damaged bark were not worries because they are normal for certain species as they age or would not be fatal.
