I requested an estimate for removal of a neighbor’s tree or trimming it back because it was damaging our brick wall. I was able to schedule an appointment with the Legacy Tree company owner not long after I called. He came on time and came up with a thorough, realistic estimate in no time. In addition, he gave me additional ideas about what to do if the neighbor refuses to remove the tree. The Legacy Tree owner has a very good grasp of how to go about doing tree trimming and tree removal, especially given the barriers to doing so because of limited access. In short, I’m very pleased with the service that I received and would highly recommend him to anyone interested in his services.

REVIEW FOR FIRST TREE REMOVAL ON JULY 8TH, 2025: Nathan and Joe did a fantastic job of removing the dead juniper in our front yard! They are very professional and easy to work with, and communicated with us very well throughout the process. They were careful and respectful of our property, including when they went up on our roof to remove the overhanging juniper branches; and they did an excellent job of cleaning up and removing all the debris. The first time we had Legacy remove a tree from our yard, they did a superb job. So we contacted them again for another tree removal. Once again, they did not disappoint! Today, Nathan, Jasper, and Josh did a stellar job of removing the ash tree in our back yard that was too close to the PNM power line. As always, the crew members were very careful and respectful of our property, left our yard spotless afterwards, and were courteous, professional, and easy to work with. REVIEW FOR STUMP REMOVAL AND GRINDING ON 03/18/2026: Brandon and Luca did an EXCELLENT job of grinding down and removing the stump of the ash tree in our backyard. They are VERY hard-working, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They arrived on time, removed and hauled away all the debris, and left our backyard looking very clean and neat! Although we had to reschedule our initial consult twice, communication was great and the individuals who came out were on time and professional. They provided us with insight into the services they found the most urgent as well as services we could use when our budget allows. They also provided us with information about our plants and grass and gave us tips for how to care of them all. They listened to our wants and needs and provided us with a quote for services (without pressure for more). We received a call shortly after to schedule the agreed upon services. The crew arrived on time and worked all day to complete everything agreed to. They also discovered an issue with one of our trees, which they explained to us in detail. They provided us with our options without any pressure or promises of outcome. They were able to complete the additional labor immediately, which was helpful. They reviewed everything with us upon completion and did a thorough job cleaning up. We will definitely continue to do business with them.
